You need to use a desktop to use the product, since mobile is not fully supported.

If you still need to use mobile, then you will have to use a browser from within MetaMask wallet.

A. Installing MetaMask

If you have used MetaMask before and you know how it works, move to Section B

Step 1 - Install MetaMask

First, click on 'Connect Wallet'. Then click on the installation link or install it from https://metamask.io/download

Step 2 - Switch to Polygon

After installing your wallet, click on 'Switch to Polygon'

And then click on 'Switch network' and then 'Approve'

This is to add the polygon network, which is the chain realindex is on

Step 3 - Obtain USDC and MATIC

To buy the LONDON token, you need to swap USDC - one of the world's most credible stablecoins.

You also need to have some MATIC for the transaction to go through. This is the native currency for the Polygon chain. Only a tiny amount is required to pay for the network fees.

If you don't already have USDC or MATIC in your wallet, you will need to import these tokens first before buying or transferring from another wallet. To do this, click on the button below.

If you have never used crypto before and you don’t have any crypto in your wallet, send us an email at hello@realindex.co with your wallet address and we will arrange to send you both USDC and MATIC and help you onboard.

B. Installing MetaMask

Step 4 - Connect your wallet

Click on 'Connect Wallet'. Once you have connected, you should see so in the MetaMask pop-up

Step 5 - Approve USDC/LON

If it's your first time swapping LON and USDC, you will need to allow realindex access to your USDC or LON tokens. Click on 'Approve {Token}', approve it on MetaMask and you' be ready to swap! (You will need MATIC for this)

Step 6 - Swap

You can choose whether to swap from USDC to LON or from LON to USDC by clicking the dropdown or the arrow button.

Q: Why does the current price of LON not match the price shown on the chart?

A: The current price of LON may fluctuate due to the exchange rate of USD/GBP. The chart shows a historical index price with a locked-in exchange rate.
